Location: OnSite Las Vegas NV

Compensation: $20/hour plus $500 completion bonus

Structure: 1099 contract (3 months)

Requirements:

• Valid and unrestricted Nevada driver’s license
• 5 years driving experience
• Must pass background check drug screen and motor vehicle record check
• High school diploma or GED

About the Role

The Autonomous Vehicle (AV) Operators will intake and provide subjective feedback for the performance of AVs in the testing phase. AVs will be operative on public roadways and the operators are responsible for not only observation but taking over operation of the vehicle when needed to do so. The twilight shift will be 12am8:30am.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe operation of AVs on public roads
• Use invehicle tech for data recording including start/stop recording data marking and minor debugging
• Operate prototype level AVs on routes both defined and undefined in varying geographic and environmental conditions
• Provide valuable and accurate subjective feedback on vehicle behavior for engineering teams
• Inspect AV pre and posttrip including internal and external visual inspection necessary equipment and operating devices and controls
• Know and comply with Nevada traffic laws
• Complete accident and incident reports if necessary
• Follow safety policies and procedures

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a clean driving record with no moving violations for previous 5 years and no DUIs in history
• Must be able to pass the inhouse driving course and exam
• Must have familiarity with local roads and geography
• Must qualify to be a rideshare driver
• Prior AV experience is a plus
