Assistant General Manager

Job Title: Assistant General Manager Cannabis Retail Dispensary

Location: Brooklawn NJ

Salary: $70000

Responsibilities:

• Assist the General Manager in daytoday operations of the dispensary including inventory management staff scheduling and customer service.
  
• Train mentor and motivate retail staff to provide excellent customer service and product knowledge.
  
• Ensure compliance with state and local regulations governing cannabis retail operations.
  
• Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure accuracy in cash reconciliation.
  
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishment.
  
• Resolve customer inquiries complaints and issues in a professional and timely manner.
  
• Maintain a clean organized and inviting retail environment.
  
• Assist in the development and implementation of sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  
• Collaborate with the management team to identify areas for improvement and implement operational enhancements.
  
• Stay updated on industry trends product knowledge and regulatory changes.
  

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of retail management experience preferably in the cannabis industry.
  
• Strong knowledge of cannabis products strains and consumption methods.
  
• Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Ability to multitask and work in a fastpaced environment.
  
• Proficiency in inventory management systems and POS software.
  
• Detailoriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
  
• Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required.
