Lead the designated section of the Supply Chain Management Department according to best practices, cascading down strategic direction to all the divisions within the section and ensure the effective delivery of end-to-end procurement services to HMC and its customers.
Accountabilities:
1. Ensure the implementation of the division overall strategy, business plan and budget
2. Ensure the implementation of the division policies and procedures
3. Supervise and coordinate activities of direct subordinates
4. Establish rules for continuous examination of work for exactness, completeness and compliance to policies and procedures
5. Initiate a periodic review of current procedures to improve efficiency
6. Ensure the staff performance is monitored and annually appraised
7. Confirm plans to motivate subordinates to achieve work goals
8. Ensure staff training needs are identified and that training is timely and appropriately provided
9. Confirm the department need for new headcount
10. Analyze and resolve work problems or assist subordinates in solving such problems
11. Lead the hiring of staff
12. Lead personnel actions such as promotions, transfers, discharges and disciplinary actions SMA 2017/ Template
13. Confirm job descriptions, organization structure and operating model
14. Lead the succession planning
15. Confer with peers to coordinate activities of individual division
16. Lead the interactions with external stakeholders
17. Ensure performance reports are accurately and timely presented to Senior Management
