Objective: The job is to create and manage the companys sales distribution network in the given territory (Bangalore and nearby areas) and develop the business to achieve short and longterm sales objectives of the organization apart from leading new business opportunities.

Job responsibilities:

Monitor analyze and report the competitor Prices Promotions new launches and Marketing activities to take the necessary steps to ensure the sales targets happen

Responsible for making robust plans to drive sales volumes.

Continuously focus and drive input KPIs by having frequent reviews with SOs and DSMs. OJT (onthejob training) with field sales to sharpen their Sales Pitch.

Driving sales team efficiency through effective utilization of sales enablers like DMS/ SFA by the sales team/ channel partners.

Efficient distribution and sales management by being on top of business priorities. Lead process for aligning existing distributor partners with their monthly targets and ensuring adequate investments for reqd. infrastructure is done by them.


Timely planning and sales forecasting aligning Channel teams on long term/ short term interventions on trade input and effective execution thereof within agreed budgetary limits to ensure delivery of business objectives.

Identification of brand building/ BTL (below the line) activation opportunities and coordinating with relevant stakeholders (sales team/ marketing team/ external agencies) for timely and effective execution of these activities.

Leading and Guided the team (sales team/ channel partners) to develop a high level of engagement and strong working relationships with trade partners (GT/ MT accounts/HORECA) to influence instore fundamentals Planogram Assortment and Share of Shelf to deliver targeted volumes and market share.

Freezer governance. Identification of new potential asset deployment opportunities along with optimum utilization of all previously deployed assets in trade.

Tracking and reviewing the performance of thirdparty payroll team members and giving performance feedback to relevant stakeholders.


Skill set required:

8 years of experience in the FMCG sector with 4 years of relevant experience in the frozen food sector.

Working knowledge of MS Office and sales field assist

Excellent team management and communication skills (written and verbal) along with the ability to plan strategically and engage in timely decisionmaking and problemsolving.

Knowledge of competitor analysis capacity building new business development and channel sales.

The person should be from an FMCG background with strong working knowledge in Frozen food segment.
