Currently we are seeking a Firmware Engineer for one of our clients that is a leading multination corporation.

Position: Firmware Engineer

Location: Austin TX onsite

Duration: 12 Months

Key Responsibilities:

Indepth UEFI BIOS development experience mandatory AMI bios x86 development experience.

Design and develop AMI platform BIOS based on the silicon and board features

C and ASM programming experience mandatory

Experience in server BIOS architecture mandatory

Preferred Experience:

5 years experience in BIOS firmware or system software development with proven knowledge of x86 system architecture

Excellent C language track record x86 assembly experience a plus

Knowledge of server hardware interfaces (10G/1G Ethernet SATA AHCI DDR3 PCIe Gen1/Gen2/Gen3 SPI I2C) encouraged

Intimate knowledge of RAS architecture preferred

Intimate knowledge of PCIe Gen1/Gen2/Gen3 NVMe and PCIe Hotplug DDR5 Memory preferred

Intimate knowledge of software development process methodology expected

Knowledge of industrystandard initiatives such as (ACPI SMBIOS PCIe) expected

Proficient with Source version control systems like Git Review tools like Gerrit

Strong analytical skills and debug methodology encouraged

Education:

BSEE BSCS or BSCE degree or higher with 57 years or MS with 35 years of experience in firmware development
