Job Description:
- Coordinate effort across teams to identify and define API needs
- Define REST API/JSON specification
- Design Apigee flows based on API spec
- Define test cases for API
- Implement requirements of the API layer like security, custom analytics, throttling, caching, logging, monetization, request and response modifications etc. using Apigee
- Build API developer portal for service providers to on board app developers, add API documentation and customize using Drupal
Job Requirements
- Candidate should have at least 5+ years of experience in software development
- Candidate should have 2+ years of experience in Apigee (developing and deploying APIs/API Products, End to End API lifestyle delivery including design, development, testing and publishing to the API developer portal)
- Strong software design and programming fundamentals of JAVA and REST Architecture
- Skilled problem solvers with the desire and proven ability to create innovative solutions
- Knowledge and experience in developing software using agile methodologies
- Good hands on experience with one of the programming languages like Python, JavaScript., NodeJS
- Expert in industry standards Open API specification
- Knowledge of CI/CD environments Maven, Jenkins and Git
