Duties and Responsibilities:


The Agile Team Coach is responsible for the ensuring that the Agile development practices are followed and adjusted as required. The Agile Coach works with the team or organization to establish and adapt to Agile practices that help to ensure high quality results and a high level of customer satisfaction Coaches may be required to work either at the team level working with teams to ensure that delivery teams within agencies are adopting agile and performing effectively; at the portfolio or program level to help agencies to establish the appropriate processes for managing a portfolio of work in an agile way; at the organization level to drive strategic change across the organization and ensure that adoption of agile techniques is embedded from the most senior levels of the organization; or across all levels to ensure that organizations adopt a pragmatic approach to the way in which they govern delivery and continuous improvement of digital services. Duties include but may not be limited to:


Work closely with Agile teams to guide them in adopting and implementing Agile principles and practices.

Provide ongoing coaching to enhance team collaboration communication and overall performance.

Assist teams in selecting and implementing appropriate Agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum Kanban) based on product and organizational needs.

Support the development of Agile ceremonies and rituals ensuring they are effective and align with Agile principles.

Facilitate regular retrospectives to identify areas for improvement and guide teams in implementing changes.

Encourage a culture of continuous improvement learning and innovation within the Agile teams.

Foster a culture of open communication and collaboration within Agile teams and across the organization.

Help teams overcome challenges resolve conflicts and build strong working relationships.

Conduct training sessions to educate team members on Agile principles practices and frameworks.

Provide guidance on the use of Agile tools and techniques to enhance team productivity.

Collaborate with teams to establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to Agile processes and outcomes.

Generate reports and insights to support datadriven decisionmaking and continuous improvement.

Provide knowledge transfer to the client and team members

Provide mentorship and education as well as developing/delivering guidance and instructions documentation to enable program personnel in defining the organization s Agile processes such as engage in Agile ceremonies backlogs management agile project management document use cases and developing user stories

Assist program personnel in applying and adapting agile processes throughout the programs identify and report risks and issues that constrain programs and agile teams from effectively and quickly delivering business value and lead coaching meetings with branch and division managers to support business improvement practices within the organization


Minimum Qualifications/Experience:



Minimum Education:


Bachelor s Degree and 510 years experience


Required Certifications:


Must hold a Certified Scrum Professional and/or Certified Professional Agile Coaching certification from an ICAgile Accredited course

SAFe Scrum Master 4.5 Certification Required

Additional SAFe Certifications Preferred


Other:


Local to Minnesota candidates preferred; Remote candidates will be considered.

US Citizens Preferred but Green Card candidates considered.
