Keusch Auto - Portland is now a GreatWater Garage, and we have an amazing, full-time opening at our busy shop located at 1600 American Way, Portland, MI 48875 for an Experienced Over-The-Road Automotive Tire Technician - 6 months to 1 year Tire Technician experience required. The OTR Tire Technician will travel to customer locations to complete tire inspections, repairs, and/or replacements determined to be necessary. In addition, this role helps make sure the shop is clean, organized, stocked and safe. Requirements
- 6 months of relevant experience preferred with OTR Heavy Duty Agricultural / Commercial Tires
- Ability to lift, pull or push tires weighing between 30-250 lbs with or without mechanical assistance
- Desire and willingness to learn how to be an Automotive Technician
- Willingness to possess required state and local certifications in the future to be able to legally perform the work
- Must possess a valid US Drivers License, be insurable on Company insurance policy
- Must possess own set of up-to-date tools needed to repair vehicles.
- Must have a chauffeur s license or have the interest/ability to get one in order to drive the truck
