Our client an independent player in the Fuel & Lubricants industry is looking to recruit a Senior Sales Manager to manage and grow its portfolio in the specialist Marine sector.This is a senior leadership role requiring a highly capable sales professional with deep proven experience in the marine industry. The manager will be responsible for leading sales strategy growing key marine accounts developing new business opportunities and managing a high-performing sales team across South Africa and regional markets
Key Responsibilities- Drive revenue growth and achieve sales and margin targets
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans for marine lubricants
- Manage and grow key marine accounts (ship owners fleet operators offshore clients)
- Identify and secure new business within the marine sector
- Lead mentor and develop the sales team
- Maintain strong relationships with ExxonMobil stakeholders
- Monitor market trends competitor activity and customer needs
Required Qualifications & Experience- Minimum 810 years senior sales experience
- Marine industry sales experience is essential and NON-NEGOTIABLE
- Proven background in marine lubricants shipping offshore services or related marine sectors
- Strong track record in key account management and revenue growth
- Demonstrated leadership and commercial capability
- Excellent negotiation communication and relationship-building skills
