Job Summary

Job Summary:

The Branch Head Agency Channel is responsible for driving branch performance by managing agency sales operations recruiting and developing insurance advisors achieving business targets and ensuring overall branch profitability. The role involves leading a sales team maintaining customer relationships and ensuring compliance with organizational policies.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development

  • Achieve branch sales targets and revenue objectives.
  • Drive business growth through the Agency Channel.
  • Develop and execute branch sales strategies to maximize productivity.
  • Monitor branch performance and take corrective actions when required.
  • Identify market opportunities and increase market penetration.

Agency Recruitment & Management

  • Recruit train and develop insurance advisors/agents.
  • Ensure quality hiring and retention of advisors.
  • Support advisors in generating leads and converting business opportunities.
  • Conduct regular meetings and performance reviews with advisors.

Team Management

  • Lead and motivate the branch sales team to achieve targets.
  • Monitor team productivity and provide coaching for performance improvement.
  • Conduct training sessions to enhance product and sales knowledge.
  • Build a high-performance culture within the branch.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and business partners.
  • Ensure excellent customer service and timely issue resolution.
  • Increase customer retention and satisfaction.

Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure branch operations are conducted as per company guidelines.
  • Maintain regulatory and compliance standards.
  • Prepare branch MIS reports and track key performance indicators.
  • Ensure proper documentation and process adherence.
Required Qualifications:
  • Graduate / Postgraduate (MBA preferred).
  • Experience in Life Insurance Agency Channel sales.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Strong knowledge of sales processes and insurance products.
Preferred Experience:
  • 5 10 years of experience in Life Insurance with experience managing teams and agency business.
