Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Contract Opportunity

Location: Albuquerque NM
Shift: Day Shift 7:00 AM 7:30 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Position Type: Contract (5 Weeks)

Job Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a short-term contract assignment in a skilled nursing/long-term care setting. The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care administering medications monitoring patient conditions and supporting the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal resident outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Monitor and document patient conditions including vital signs and clinical changes
• Assist residents with daily nursing care and support individualized care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR) documentation
• Collaborate with CNAs RNs and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure coordinated care delivery
• Follow infection control guidelines safety standards and regulatory compliance requirements

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted LPN license required
• Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility preferred
• Strong clinical assessment communication and patient care skills
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
