About the Role
A healthcare organization in the North Shore Chicago area is seeking a compassionate and reliable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support patient care in a professional clinical or care-based setting. This role is a great fit for an LPN who is organized patient-focused and comfortable working closely with RNs physicians care teams patients and families.
The LPN will assist with daily nursing care medication administration documentation patient monitoring and communication with the broader care team. The ideal candidate is dependable detail-oriented and able to provide warm respectful care while following clinical procedures and safety standards.
Requirements
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care under the supervision of an RN physician or clinical manager
- Administer medications and treatments according to care plans and facility protocols
- Monitor patient condition and report changes to the appropriate clinical team member
- Assist with patient assessments vitals documentation and care coordination
- Support patients with daily care needs while maintaining dignity and comfort
- Communicate professionally with patients families and internal care teams
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Follow infection control safety privacy and compliance procedures
- Help support a calm organized and patient-centered care environment
Qualifications
- Active Illinois LPN license in good standing
- New graduates are welcome to apply
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy care environment
- Professional dependable and compassionate approach to patient care
- Experience in skilled nursing assisted living clinic home health or long-term care is a plus
