About the Role

A healthcare organization in the North Shore Chicago area is seeking an experienced and patient-focused Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality nursing care and support day-to-day clinical operations. This role is ideal for an RN who is confident in patient assessment care planning documentation medication administration and communication with patients families and interdisciplinary teams.

The RN will help oversee patient care monitor changes in condition coordinate with providers and care staff and support a safe organized and compassionate care environment. The ideal candidate brings strong clinical judgment professionalism and a calm approach to patient care.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and clinical oversight for assigned patients
• Complete patient assessments and monitor changes in condition
• Develop follow and update care plans in collaboration with the care team
• Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders and clinical protocols
• Communicate with physicians families patients and interdisciplinary team members
• Supervise or support LPNs CNAs or other care staff as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the patient record
• Respond to patient needs concerns and changes in condition promptly
• Follow infection control safety privacy and compliance standards
• Support quality care patient satisfaction and smooth daily operations

Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN license in good standing
• Strong assessment documentation and communication skills
• Ability to prioritize patient needs and manage multiple responsibilities
• Professional reliable and compassionate bedside manner
• Experience in skilled nursing assisted living home health clinic hospital or long-term care is a plus
