Business Development Manager is a core role in Trusting Socials market expansion strategy in Vietnam. The role holder is responsible for proactively identifying developing and closing new contracts with clients in the banking finance and fintech sectors contributing directly to the companys revenue growth targets.
What Youll Do
Prospecting & Pipeline Development
- Proactively identify and approach banks consumer finance companies and fintech firms with no existing contract with Trusting Social
- Build pipeline independently not reliant on inbound marketing leads
- Travel regularly between Ho Chi Minh City Hanoi and relevant locations as needed for client meetings product demos and contract negotiations
End-to-End Sales Ownership
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through signed contract and go-live
- Negotiate commercial terms pricing and contract conditions with clients
- Coordinate internally with Finance Legal and Engineering teams to ensure timely deal closure
- After go-live and implementation are complete execute formal client handover to the Account Management team according to the timeline agreed between both teams
Solution Consulting
- Consult and present solutions tailored to each clients specific needs including AI RM Agent eKYC Face Authentication Vision Score and Telco Score
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with key decision-makers (C-level CTO CRO) at target organizations
Pipeline & Reporting
- Build and maintain a high-quality opportunity pipeline; keep deal data accurate and up to date in the CRM at all times
- Submit weekly pipeline updates and monthly revenue forecasts to the Senior Business Development Manager
- Proactively identify deal risks and escalate with proposed solutions in a timely manner
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by line manager
What Were Looking For
- Minimum 7 years of work experience including at least 3 years of B2B sales within the banks or financial institutions
- Demonstrated track record of closing deals; preference for candidates with contracts above VND 1 billion
- Able to present and explain technology products (AI data models digital identity) to non-technical buyers
- Strong negotiation skills at decision-maker level
- Willing to business travel between Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi as required by the nature of the work
- Results-driven motivated by closing not by maintaining
Preferred
- Existing network with senior decision-makers at major commercial banks in Vietnam
- Experience selling credit scoring identity verification or AI products in the financial sector
- Prior experience in a technology startup or scale-up environment
Target & Benefits
Primary target: Total value of new contracts signed during the year (New Logos Only)
Benefits: Commission based on net received revenue. Full commission structure to be shared upon joining as a full-time employee.
