Duties & Responsibilities
Company and Job Description:
We are looking for a capable and proactive Accountant to support the finance team over a 3month contract period. This role offers strong exposure to operational accounting across multiple entities with a focus on journals reconciliations and audit preparation.The position is wellsuited to a candidate who wants practical experience in a fastmoving environment and is comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and processing of journals- Balance sheet and account reconciliations
- Supporting operational accounting activities
- Assisting with audit preparation and documentation
- Working across multiple entities
Job Experience and Skills Required:
Education:- Completed SAICA articles (preferred) or BCom
Experience:
- Exposure to operational accounting essential
Skills:
- Xero (essential)
- QuickBooks (essential)
- Strong reconciliation skills
- Experience working across multiple entities beneficial
