Job & Company Description:
A reputable organisation based in Lanseria is seeking to appoint a driven detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join its finance team. This opportunity is ideal for a candidate who has recently completed SAICA or SAIPA articles and is eager to gain exposure to the full finance function within a hands-on operational environment.
The successful individual will work closely with senior finance professionals and gain valuable exposure across reporting reconciliations inventory management and financial operations. This role is suited to someone with strong academics excellent attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
The appointed candidate will play a key role in supporting the finance function while contributing towards process improvements and maintaining strong financial controls across the business.

- Assist with the full finance function
- Prepare reconciliations and monthly financial reports
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Assist with inventory accounting and stock management
- Ensure compliance with financial controls and procedures
- Process journals and balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with audit preparation and statutory requirements
- Support management with financial analysis and reporting
Job Experience & Qualifications:
- BCom degree (minimum requirement)
- Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles
- Exposure to the full finance function advantageous
- Strong academic achievements
- Inventory experience advantageous
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong Excel and financial systems skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
