Job: Desktop and laptop Support Technicians

Location: phoenix AZ

Visa: Any

Rate: $28 /hr on c2c $25 /hr on W2

Only local Phoenix AZ candidates

Experience: 3 years

Experience Required

Minimum of three (3) year of experience in desktop support computer deployment technical support or related IT field OR

An equivalent combination of education and related technical experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the position Experience Preferred

Experience participating in large-scale PC refresh or deployment initiatives

Experience providing onsite technical support in enterprise government or public sector environments

Experience working directly with end users in customer-facing technical support roles

Skills Required

Experience deploying and configuring Windows desktop and laptop computers

Basic knowledge of workstation imaging and deployment processes

Experience setting up monitors docking stations printers and peripherals

Strong customer service and communication skills

Ability to follow deployment schedules and written procedures

Basic troubleshooting skills related to hardware software and connectivity issues

Ability to work independently and as part of a deployment team

Experience updating tickets and documenting completed work

Ability to lift and move computer equipment as required

Reliable transportation and ability to travel to various locations throughout Maricopa County

Professional demeanor and ability to work with users at all organizational levels

Skills Preferred

Experience supporting desktop refresh or hardware deployment projects

Experience using SCCM MDT Intune Autopilot or similar imaging/deployment tools

Previous enterprise or government IT support experience

Experience with asset tracking and inventory management systems

Experience working in a high-volume deployment environment

Knowledge of Active Directory and basic network connectivity troubleshooting

Education Required

High School Diploma or GED Other Requirements:

Must possess or have the ability to obtain a valid Arizona drivers license at the time of hire.

Education Preferred

General knowledge of hand tools hardware installations (how to set up a computer workstation with multiple screens) and wire mapping/management best practices.
