We are looking for an experienced legal leader to join Adobe asDirectorAssociateGeneral Counsel Head of Legal Western leading legal strategy acrossSouthwest Europe and Latin America.
The Opportunity
You will lead a diverse and geographically distributed legal team and work closely with senior business leaders across the region(spanning from France to Italy SpainPortugalto Latin America). You willprovidepracticalforwardlookinglegal guidance while helping shape Adobes growth in complex and evolving regulatory environments.
This is not simply a senior legal role it isfirst and foremostapeopleleadershiprole.
The successful candidate will be an experienced manager who builds psychologically safehighperformingteams; someone whorolemodelsAdobes values every day and brings the samerigourto developing their people as they do to their legal work.

Lead and Develop the Team
Lead develop and inspire a team of 7 lawyers and legal professionals across Paris and SãoPaulo fostering an inclusivehightrustenvironment.
Own the teams talent strategy including hiring performance management coaching and career development in line with AdobesCheckInframework.
Support and develop junior managers promoting strongpeopleleadershippractices and psychological safety.
Shape Legal Strategy
Define and implement the legal strategy for Southwest Europe(FranceItalyandSpain)and Latin America(Brazil Mexico Chile and Argentina as mainmarkets).
Identifyand manage legal risk across commercial regulatory data privacy IP andAIrelatedmatters translating risk into clear business guidance.
Advise senior leaders and contribute to industry guidelines and policy discussions.
Partner with the Business
Act as a trusted legal partner to top-level executives providing proactive strategic counsel.
Oversee complex commercial agreements including licensing services partnerships andAIrelatedarrangements.
Support sales marketing finance and product teams through practical legal guidance and targeted training.
Drive Operational Excellence
Manage external counsel relationships and the regional legal budget.
Improve legal operations through processoptimization legal technology AI innovation and workflows and effective knowledge management.
Ensurehigh standardsof governance documentation and integrity in line with Adobes Code of Business Conduct.
WhatYoullBring
Experience and Qualifications
Law degree (or equivalent)and active admission to the Bar
12 years of post-qualification legal experience with significant in-house experience at amultinationaltechnology software orIP-intensive company.
>6 years of people management experience including direct management of lawyers at varying levels of seniority.
Proventrack recordof managing geographically dispersed multicultural teams experience managing across EMEA andLATAMstrongly preferred.
Expert knowledge of commercial/IT/IP law and strong working knowledge of GDPR AI regulation and competition law in the French Spanish and/or Italian context.
Experience overseeing external counsel partnerships and managing legal budgets at a regional level.
