Senior Technical Program Manager, Amazon Global Logistics
Job Summary
Key job responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex technical programs across multiple engineering teams and stakeholders
- Design and implement sustainable processes for cross-functional program management
- Drive development of software solutions that optimize global fulfillment and cross-border selling
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs)
- Manage program scope schedule budget quality risk and critical path elements
- Coordinate release schedules and ensure successful delivery of technical solutions
- Partner with engineering teams to build scalable distributed systems
- Present progress and metrics to senior leadership
A day in the life
Your day might start with a strategic planning session with engineering teams followed by coordination meetings with cross-functional stakeholders. Youll spend time analyzing program metrics identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies. Youll collaborate with global teams to remove friction points in our fulfillment processes and work on innovative solutions to enhance the selling partner experience. Your role will involve both tactical execution and strategic planning to drive AGLs mission forward.

- 5 years of technical product or program management experience
- 7 years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 3 years of software development experience
- 5 years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams building processes and coordinating release schedules
- 5 years of project management disciplines including scope schedule budget quality along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience defining KPIs/SLAs used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
