Compensation & Benefits

• Salary Range: $110000 $170000 (based on experience)
• Incentive Bonus: Up to 17.5%
• Sign-On Bonus: Case-by-case consideration

Position Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Director of Sterile Processing for an exciting job in Asheville North Carolina.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead overall operations of the Sterile Processing department
• Ensure adherence to infection prevention and sterile processing standards
• Oversee quality assurance audits and continuous improvement initiatives
• Manage staffing recruitment onboarding and professional development
• Partner with perioperative and clinical leadership teams across service lines
• Drive efficiency and standardization of workflows
• Maintain readiness for regulatory and accreditation inspections
• Support budgeting resource allocation and cost management
• Foster a culture of accountability teamwork and patient safety

Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelors degree in Business Nursing Healthcare Administration or related field
  OR
• Completion of a two-year Surgical Technology program

Certifications

• Current CSPDT or CRCST certification required
• IAHCSMM certification required

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience in Central Sterile Processing
• Acute care hospital experience required
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Operating room instrumentation and surgical equipment
  • Aseptic technique and infection prevention standards
  • Sterile processing workflows and compliance regulations
• Proven experience leading large teams in a complex healthcare environment strongly preferred
• Excellent leadership communication and organizational skills
