Job Summary
Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) Aurora IL (Aug 2026-May 2027)
- Position: Full-time TVI (Teacher of the Visually Impaired)
- Location: Aurora IL (serving Kane County and Will County)
- Contract Dates: August 3 2026 May 21 2027
- Orientation: August 3 2026
Qualifications:
- Illinois State Board of Education Professional Educator s License (PEL) with TVI endorsement
- Proficient in school-based technology including computers and specialized software (Microsoft Office Google Suite etc.)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instructional services to visually impaired students
- Collaborate with educational teams and staff
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
- Utilize technology and assistive tools to support student learning
