Job Summary
We are currently seeking a full-time 40 hours per week 4 - 10 hours per day start times will vary and occasional calls. The Central Sterile Supply Technician will join the Surgery Departments team of professionals. Some essential functions of this position include: Process and sterilize all OR and departmental instrumentation. Clean and test all sterilizers on a daily basis. Create pre-packaged instruments for specific procedures. Set up case carts for OR cases. We require a high school or equivalent graduate; a certified technician is preferred. Knowledge of hospital instruments is preferred. PLEASE NOT THAT THE INFLUENZA VACCINATION IS MANDATED BY THE STATE OF MAINE. ONLY MEDICAL EXEMPTIONS ARE ACCEPTED UPON APPROVAL.
Shift: 4 - 10 hour days start times will vary.
