Job Summary
General Description:Responsible for accurate and safe delivery and set-up and removal of patient care equipment in the home. Providing accurate and complete information to caregivers of equipment utilization. Maintain current patient equipment logs. Responsible for assisting in pulling disposable supply orders. Performs routine maintenance as needed to operating systems of facility such as heating cooling plumbing electrical systems and machinery (when a licensed professional is not required). Operates machinery needed for such purposes.
Requirements: High School graduate or equivalent.Current Arkansas Drivers License. Satisfactory results from motor vehicle records check and demonstrated ability to safely operate a truck. 3-5 years prior experience driving trucks is preferred. Good hearing vision and ability to distinguish between colors. Satisfactory results from criminal history check and periodic random drug tests. Ability to read and speak English well enough to read road signs prepare reports and communicate with the public. Knowledge of patient care equipment functions including routine maintenance. Requires manual dexterity and problem-solving ability. Must get along well with people speak well and have self-confidence initiative tact and a neat appearance. A responsible self-motivated individual able to work well with little or no direct supervision. Experience in a healthcare environment preferred. Certification as a DME Technician preferred. Maintains current satisfactory TB skin test. Ability to cope with human suffering emergencies and other stresses. A team player and a person of unquestionable personal andprofessional ethics. Ability to use Microsoft Excel Office and Word.
