This contract position offers a unique opportunity for professionals at the associate level to contribute to a diverse range of cardiology cases within the accounting industry context.
As a Locum Cardiology Physician you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality healthcare services ensuring that patients receive exceptional care. You will be involved in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions while collaborating with a dedicated team to enhance patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive cardiovascular assessments and diagnoses
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
- Conduct diagnostic tests and interpret results accurately
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Educate patients on cardiovascular health and preventive measures
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to case discussions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Associate-level experience in cardiology or related field
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of operation
- Strong clinical skills and a patient-centered approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to continuous professional development
- Experience in using electronic health records (EHR) systems is preferred
Schedule: Tuesday-Thursday 9a-3p
No call requirement
Patient Volume: 20 per day
Duties: Clinic coverage and echocardiography reads
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
