Job Summary
Description
Hire Resolves Client is currently looking for an experienced GCC Engineer to join their mining company based in KwaZulu-Natal. You will be responsible for managing engineering operations to ensure safe compliant and efficient maintenance and performance of operational assets and equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee engineering maintenance and reliability of operational assets and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with statutory safety and engineering standards.
- Manage planned preventative and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Monitor equipment performance and implement improvement initiatives.
- Supervise engineering teams and contractors to ensure safe and efficient execution of work.
- Support budgeting cost control and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with health safety and environmental requirements.
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- GCC Mines and Works
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 5 years experience as an Engineer within the mining industry (POST GCC)
- Valid Drivers License
Benefits:
- Salary: R1.5Mil - R2Mil P/A
