Duties & Responsibilities

- Lead process design and optimisation for mineral processing metallurgical or industrial process plants.
- Develop and review process flow diagrams (PFDs) piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) mass and energy balances and technical specifications.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and project teams.
- Participate in FEED studies detailed design commissioning and plant optimisation activities.
- Conduct process simulations feasibility studies and technology evaluations.
- Collaborate with mechanical electrical instrumentation and project management teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Support client engagement technical presentations and proposal development.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards safety regulations and industry best practices.
Minimum Requirements
- BEng Degree in Chemical Engineering.
- Professional Engineering Registration (PrEng) with ECSA.
- Minimum 10 years experience in process engineering preferably within metals minerals processing or heavy industrial projects.
- Proven experience in process plant design commissioning and optimisation.
- Strong understanding of process simulation tools and engineering design standards.
- Experience working on large EPC/EPCM projects will be advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving leadership and communication skills.
