Office Central Nursing Department Queen Mary Hospital Hong Kong Island Cluster | |
Pay HK$96142 to HK$114905 (HGPS Pt 34 39) per month including Monthly Allowance Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance. | |
Key Responsibilities | |
1. | Make planning in service rationalization and development within the cluster in accordance with the directions and annual plan of HA. |
2. | Assist in the development and implementation of organization policies and plans provide input in the formation of policies of the department / units / services. |
3. | Implement and evaluate the manpower planning recruitment deployment and retention strategies for staff. |
4. | Set up and implement staff development plan to facilitate career progression for nurses. |
5. | Lead the development implementation and evaluation of nursing policies and standards within the department / units / services. |
6. | Facilitate and participate in the development of nursing profession. |
Entry Requirements | |
1. | Holder of a valid Registered Nurse practicing certificate (Part I) issued by the Nursing Council of Hong Kong. |
2. | Qualification in advanced nursing specialty *. |
3. | 10 years or more post-registration experience of which at least 5 years is in a management or professional development role |
* Qualification in advanced nursing specialty refers to recognize post-registration certificate or post-graduate certificate/diploma course in nursing specialty or Master in nursing# or related discipline with considerable coverage on a relevant nursing specialty. # Only post-registration Master in nursing programmes are accepted | |
Preferred Attributes / Exposure | |
1. | Demonstrated ability in advanced managerial skills with track record of excellence in health care management and contributions to professional development including research/evidence-based practice teaching and training. |
2. | A Master degree in nursing or related discipline. |
3. | Qualification in management* *Qualification in Management refers to post-graduate certificate/diploma or Master in health service related management or Master in nursing# or other discipline with considerable coverage on health service related management. #Only post-registration Master in nursing programmes are accepted |
