HK$36850 (HGPS Point 16) per month

Key Responsibilities:

1.

Assist the Social Work Officer under designated team to manage the medical fee waiving application in cluster.

2.

Conduct psycho-social assessment and intervention.

3.

Provide outreach visits and crisis intervention.

4.

Render multi-disciplinary patient service.

5.

Develop volunteer service and run mass programs.

6.

Conduct empirical research and service evaluation activities.

7.

Any job-related duties assigned by senior.

EntryRequirements:

1.

(a)A degree in Social Work from a local university or equivalent.

OR

(b)A degree from a local university or equivalent and have successfully completed a one-year post graduate course in Social Work at a local university or equivalent.

OR

(c)A degree from a local university or equivalent and have successfully completed a two-year post- graduate course in Social Work or possess a Masters degree in Social Work from a local university or equivalent.

2.

Registration with and a valid registration certificate issued by the Hong Kong Social Workers Registration Board.

3.

Fluency in written English and Chinese as well as spoken English and Cantonese.

Preferred Attributes / Exposure:

1.

(a) Grade E in English Language (Syllabus B) and Chinese Language in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination or equivalent.

OR

(b) Level 2 in English Language and Chinese Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education or equivalent.

Related social work working experience in mental health service / end of life service / outreach service is preferred.

3.

Proficient in interpersonal and communication skills.

4.

Social work therapy skills.

5.

Therapeutic intervention in patient care.

6.

Ability to build internal and external partnership.

7.

Leadership.
