Pay
HK$63338 to HK$88333 (HGPS Pt 26 to 33A) per month including Monthly Allowance
Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and supervise a nursing team within Palliative Care Service.
2. Develop professional nursing standard care protocol and clinical pathway.
3. Provide complex patient care in Palliative Care.
4. Act as a resource and referral agent on clinical expertise.
5. Manage nurse-led services to provide specialized patient care.
6. Train and supervise nurse learners in advanced nursing specialty training.
7. Initiate and participate in evidenced-based practice and nursing research.
8. Participate in the planning implementation and evaluation of the service.
9. Enhance supervisory support and senior coverage in every shifts of duty.
10. Coordinate and implement new service/ improvement initiatives.
Entry Requirements
1. Holder of a valid Registered Nurse practicing certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Hong Kong.
2. Qualification in advanced nursing specialty*.
3. A degree in Nursing or equivalent.
4. 5 years or more post-registration experience in healthcare of which at least 3 years is in the related specialty.
*Qualification in advanced nursing specialty refers to recognized post-registration certificate or post-graduate certificate/diploma course in nursing specialty or Master in nursing# or related discipline with considerable coverage on a relevant nursing specialty
#Only post-registration Master in nursing programmes are accepted

10. Participation in professional development activities in Hong Kong.
11. Experience in quality improvement.
12. Working experience in Palliative Home Care.
