GME Research Coordinator

Augusta Health is seeking a Research Coordinator to advance and support the organizations scholarly mission across Graduate Medical Education (GME) clinical research and community health initiatives. This role will provide coordination guidance and operational support for research projects grant development and scholarly publications. The ideal candidate brings experience from higher education healthcare or scientific research environments and is comfortable navigating Institutional Review Board (IRB) processes grants and collaborative academic work. This position plays a key role in strengthening Augusta Healths culture of inquiry evidence-based practice and community-focused scholarly research.

Minimum Qualifications

• Baccalaureate degree in education healthcare administration or related field
• Two (2) years supporting research grants or scholarly publications in higher education or scientific settings.

Skills

• Advanced organization skills project management skills as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to follow through.
• Outstanding professional organizational and presentation skills.
• Strong computer skills including use of Microsoft Office products.
• Experience supporting research grants and/or scholarly publications in higher education healthcare or scientific settings.
• Familiarity publishing academic and scholarly dissemination
• Must possess excellent interpersonal skills as well as effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and complete in a timely fashion.
• High level of integrity while working with sensitive and personal information.
• Ability to work independently and autonomously.
