Job Summary
Job Summary:
The FacilitiesRegulatory Compliance Specialists primary responsibility is to develop implement and monitor fire protection and life safety programs to ensure compliance with regulations. TheSpecialist oversees the Life Safety inspections with third party vendors to ensure timely completion. This includes quoting scheduling and filing the results of inspections and corrections.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compliance & Regulations: Ensuring facility compliance with federal state and local life safety codes and fire protection standards.
- System Maintenance: Overseeing the installation testing and maintenance of life safety systems such as fire alarms and sprinkler systems
- Safety Training: Educating employees contractors and visitors on safety policies and emergency protocols.
- Audits & Inspections: Conducting regular safety inspections and audits to identify and mitigate hazards.
Education and Training:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
- Previous health care facility maintenance experience preferred.
- Demonstrated on-the-job trainings and continuing education through manufacturers workshops and seminars highly preferred.
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong communication skills are a must.
- Organizational and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations.
