Additionally this role requires a hands-on presence where the action happens. Candidates must be able and willing to travel to field sites up to 40% of the time to maintain a consistent field presence provide support for field operations and bridge the gap between corporate engineering design and field execution.

The Opportunity

What You Will Be Doing:
- Provide technical expertise for the design modification and maintenance of oil and gas production facilities.
- Perform engineering calculations analyses and troubleshooting to identify and resolve operational issues.
- Develop and review engineering drawings and specifications.
- Support project teams with technical expertise during facility construction commissioning and turnaround activities.
- Oversee project budget schedule and provide update reports to key members of management.
- Manage and participate in facility inspections ensuring adherence to all safety regulations and industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations maintenance and procurement to optimize facility performance.
- Maintain a strong understanding of industry best practices and regulations and stay up to date with new technologies.
Your Background:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Petroleum Civil or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Proven experience in facilities engineering design or maintenance for wet gas and condensate systems.
- Working knowledge of engineering principles codes and standards (e.g. API ASME DPT PHMSA).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD ProMax or similar engineering design software.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint).
- Ability to meet specific deadlines based on department needs and work with minimal supervision.
- Must be detail oriented with strong analytical and communication skills and have the ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Extremely team-oriented with strong oral and written skills to convey information clearly and persuasively.
- Results-oriented with a sense of urgency.
- Must be able to performlight work exerting up to 20pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift carry push pull or otherwise move objects.
- See hear talk and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and visual acuity; kneel sit stand walk crouch stoop reach pull push and other similar repetitive tasks requiring physical activity.
- Able to operate standard office/computer equipment.
