My Guardian is a leading Aged and Disability Care provider dedicated to delivering compassionate high-quality person-centred care.
As we continue to grow we are looking for an experienced and driven Head of Talent to lead our national talent acquisition workforce compliance and training readiness function.
This is a senior hands-on leadership role for someone who can build strong recruitment pipelines improve onboarding quality strengthen compliance controls and help My Guardian scale its workforce across aged care disability corporate and operational teams.
The OpportunityThe Head of Talent will lead My Guardians talent acquisition function and play a key role in supporting our national growth.
You will be responsible for building scalable recruitment strategies leading the Talent Acquisition team improving recruitment systems and ensuring new employees are compliant trained and ready to work before commencing duties.
This role is suited to a strong recruitment leader who understands aged and disability care workforce environments and can balance speed quality compliance and stakeholder expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute national workforce attraction and talent pipeline strategies.
- Lead recruitment across aged care disability corporate operational and leadership roles.
- Manage coach and develop the Talent Acquisition team.
- Build long-term sourcing strategies for carers nurses coordinators operational staff and leadership positions.
- Improve recruitment workflows reporting systems and operational efficiency.
- Build relationships with external partners including education providers industry bodies workforce programs and referral channels.
- Oversee onboarding compliance and employment documentation.
- Ensure recruitment and onboarding practices align with employment legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Lead mandatory training governance across onboarding and ongoing employment.
- Maintain role-based training requirements for frontline clinical operational corporate and leadership roles.
- Track training completion refresher dates expiry dates and overdue requirements.
- Partner with Quality Clinical Operations and People & Culture teams to improve workforce readiness.
- Support workforce analytics recruitment reporting and executive-level decision making.
You are a practical commercially minded talent leader who can build process lead people and deliver outcomes.
You will bring:
- Significant experience leading internal recruitment or talent acquisition teams.
- Experience in high-volume recruitment environments.
- Strong understanding of workforce compliance onboarding and pre-employment screening.
- Experience building talent pipelines and sourcing strategies.
- Strong stakeholder management skills including working with senior leaders.
- Confidence using recruitment systems reporting and workforce data.
- Strong process improvement capability.
- A hands-on leadership style and willingness to work close to the detail.
- Experience in aged care disability health community services or another regulated workforce environment will be highly regarded.
- Working knowledge of awards employment obligations and workforce compliance requirements will be highly regarded.
