Our first product the V-One PCB printer integrates drilling through-holes printing conductive materials dispensing solder paste and reflowing circuits to enable fast iteration of circuit board designs. Our second product the NOVA materials dispensing system offers precision dispensing of functional materials on both flexible and rigid substrates for flexible hybrid electronics prototyping and materials research.

About the Job
- Perform incoming inspection and in-process quality reviews to verify adherence to quality standards.
- Lead the non-conformance report (NCR) process including investigations root cause analysis and coordinating corrective and preventive actions (CAPA/SCAR).
- Track quality data from production defects and returned materials to identify trends prioritize recurring issues and support permanent corrective actions.
- Partner with production and engineering in quality feedback discussions to share findings and help improve manufacturing processes.
- Manage supplier quality issues by communicating defects and helping coordinate supplier audits when needed.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts that help the team produce consistent high-quality products.
Working conditions
- Working from the office in Waterloo at least four days per week.
- Some travel to local suppliers or partners may be required.
About You
- Post-secondary education in quality systems mechanical or manufacturing engineering or a related field.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Experience collecting organizing and analyzing quality data.
- Hands-on experience with corrective action workflows including CAPA and supplier corrective action requests (SCAR).
- Experience supporting supplier quality activities or supplier audits.
- Experience improving production or quality processes in a manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and CNC processes.
- Comfortable using common quality inspection tools (caliper height gauges micrometers and bore micrometers).
- Exposure to new product introduction (NPI) advanced product quality planning (APQP) failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA) and statistical process control (SPC).
Nice to haves
- Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt or higher.
- Experience working in an ISO 9001 environment.
- Experience using or supporting a quality management system (QMS).
- Programming or automation experience that could improve reporting or processes.
- Experience with the NRTL certification process.

Compensation
The expected base salary range for this role is CAD $60000$75000. Final compensation will be based on job-related skills experience and qualifications. This range reflects base pay only and does not include bonus eligibility or benefits.
