Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced IBM i (AS400) Production Support Analyst to provide production support for IBM i (AS400/iSeries) billing applications ensuring high system availability incident resolution and operational stability.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide production support for IBM i (AS400/iSeries) billing applications and meet SLA targets.
- Troubleshoot incidents perform root cause analysis and resolve production issues.
- Monitor and manage batch jobs job scheduling job queues and batch recovery.
- Perform data fixes file maintenance system debugging and production deployments.
- Coordinate with application infrastructure and vendor teams to ensure system stability.
- Implement operational improvements and support 24x7 critical incident resolution.
Required Skills
- Strong experience with IBM i (AS400/iSeries) production support and billing platforms.
- Proficiency in CL (Control Language) and RPG/RPGLE (ILE RPG).
- Experience with batch processing job scheduling job queues job logs spool files and system messages.
- Hands-on experience with data fixes file maintenance and system-level debugging.
- Exposure to automation scripting monitoring tools and batch recovery strategies.
- Strong analytical troubleshooting and communication skills.
