Salary Range:$48.04/hr -$72.05/hr(Based on experience)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Director of Womens Services to provide strategic and operational leadership for Womens Health departments within a high-acuity hospital environment. This leadership role carries 24-hour accountability and reports directly to the Assistant Chief Nursing Officer (ACNO).
The department supports a comprehensive range of womens and childrens services including maternal-fetal care labor and delivery neonatal intensive care and pediatric emergency services within a large high-volume facility.
Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership in the assessment planning implementation and evaluation of patient care services
Oversee daily operations staffing and resource management for Womens Services departments
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and quality of care
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards policies and best practices
Lead quality improvement initiatives and support organizational goals and performance metrics
Manage departmental budgets and ensure fiscally responsible operations
Foster a culture of patient-centered care safety and continuous improvement
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license or compact state license
Minimum 5 years of recent leadership experience (Manager or Director level) in Womens Services
Experience in a large high-acuity hospital setting
BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certification required
Strong leadership communication organizational and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
Specialty certification in Womens Health or Nursing Leadership
