What Youll Do
- Manage the daytoday accounting operations including oversight of AP/AR purchasing and payroll
- Responsible for general ledger maintenance and journal entry preparation for month-end and year-end close
- Prepare monthly financial statements plus annual operating and capital budgets
- Lead the annual audit and oversee the preparation of the Consolidated Fiscal Report (CFR)
- Ensure compliance with nonprofit accounting standards grants and regulatory requirements
- Strengthen internal controls and continuously improve financial processes
- Partner with leadership to support strategic decisionmaking
- Supervise 4 accounting staff and support the Chief Financial Officer
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or business related field required.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsibleaccounting experience; nonprofit experience strongly preferred
- Minimum 2 years of direct supervisory experience
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to see the big picture
