Job Summary:
This Manager will supervise the work of an operational software development team allocating daily tasks and providing immediate support to ensure projects stay on track. They address coding or system issues as they arise provide real-time feedback and monitor the onboarding and skill development of new team members. The role is directly responsible for maintaining standards of quality and consistency within clearly defined processes ensuring that work meets the functional expectations of the organization. Managers here support the well-being and performance of the team by troubleshooting obstacles clarifying requirements and reporting escalated problems to higher management.
They will lead a team delivering web portals and exam delivery software Angular and Azure. Drive operational excellence support team growth and ensure high-quality secure software delivery in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coach direct reports supporting onboarding and skill development.
- Oversee delivery of web portals and exam delivery software ensuring standards Angular Azure Jira and Confluence.
- Troubleshoot technical issues escalate blockers and implement process improvements for quality and efficiency.
Required Skills and Competencies:
- DevOps Cloud Computing API Management Software Design Data Security Information Security (Experienced)
- Collaboration Technical Acumen Problem Solving Innovation (Effective/Experienced)
- Adaptability Learning to Learn Ethical Responsibility Resilience Planning (Effective/Experienced)

Qualifications (Education & Experience):
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience in software engineering
- Proven experience managing software development teams
- Strong track record delivering web-based solutions
- History of working with Agile teams to improve their processes leading to increased delivery
- Prior experience with working in a successful onshore/offshore model
