System Safety Engineering Manager (Systems Engineering Management)

The Boeing Attack Program is seeking a dynamic System Safety Engineering Manager (Systems Engineering Management) to manage the Product Integrity / Mission Assurance Team in Mesa AZ. This individual will be responsible for leading System Safety Engineering team.

Primary responsibilities:

• Oversees the identification analysis and assessment of regulatory and contractual compliance of aerospace systems products and services.
• Manages employees performing engineering and technical activities in the area of System Safety
• Develops and executes project and process plans implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
• Acquires resources for projects and processes provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reports
• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes
• Manages develops and motivates employees

Work Authorization:

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Mesa AZ. Some travel maybe required as business needs.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

• Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader temp manager large scale cross functionalproject/program management or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course Exploring Leadership.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology) Computer Science Data Science Mathematics Physics Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
• Experience performing systems engineering activities in full systems engineering lifecycle
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):

• Experience with Avionics and/or System Safety
• Experience with flight avionics design
• Experience with the concepts of Model Based Engineering Digital Thread and Digital System Modeling
