About the role
AstheSenior Digital Transformation Manager youwillplay a pivotal role in shaping Dysons next-generation digital initiatives that put our customers at the centreprovidefunctional insights to the business and fosterinnovation across all touchpoints.
Leading a team based in Singapore you will spearhead the ideation scoping and delivery of data-driven initiatives in collaboration with cross-functional teams across IT and Business Functions. This role demands a strategic thinker a technical innovator and an experienced leader passionate aboutleveragingdata to push the boundaries of product development.
A key part of the role will be navigating a matrixed stakeholder landscape ensuring that solutions meet the needs of diverse teams and Business Functions. You will alsobe responsible forensuring compliance with companypolicies andkeeping abreast of relevant technological developments.
Key Responsibilities
1. Leadership & Strategy
Facilitate implementation of thedigital transformationstrategy and roadmap covering owner experience consumer products portfolio as well as enterprise initiatives being implemented ensuring alignment with the companys broader product development goals.Lead and develop a teambased in Singapore who are currently driving high-impact initiatives across digital transformation dataproductsandprogramme management.
Champion the translation of data-driven initiatives including product business and customer needs into scalable data-driven solutions covering Embedded Software Application Software Cloud as well as Enterprise IT systems. Proactively engage with stakeholders to collect document and prioritize requirements ensuring alignment with businessobjectives.
Partner closely with Product Engineering and Research & Development teams to integrate data into the product lifecycle. Together with IT coordinate cross-functional teams to plan and execute data-driven initiatives from theinceptionstage through to delivery and support.
2.Data ProductsInnovationand Insights
Enable the development of insight-driven tools and products for continuous improvement performance optimization and intelligent diagnostics of Dyson products. Facilitate feedback collection from stakeholders and drive continuous improvement for these tools and products.
Drive innovation using data machine learning andAItoidentifyopportunities for product enhancement. Build the organizations capability in predictive and prescriptive analytics to guide decision-making.
Keep abreast of relevant technological developments and bestpractices andproactively embed these into Dyson teams.
3.Operational Excellence & Cross-functional Collaboration
Connect the dots between IT Business and Engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of data insights across Dyson.
Work closely with IT and Business Functions to plan data-driven initiative rollouts drive user adoption and provide ongoing support and training as needed.
Ensure governance and best practices around data privacy security and compliance.
About you
10 years of experience in digital software IT data transformation and delivery.
Leadership Expertise: Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary teams with a strong focus on collaboration and results.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of Software Data and Cloud Infrastructure. Experience with data systems APIs and creating data exchange workflows.
Product Development: Demonstrated success in integrating data products with physical product development lifecycles preferably in consumer technology or engineering industries.
Analytics & AI: Working knowledge of machine learning and AI technologies with hands-on familiarity in transforming raw data into business insights.
Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication skills to engage with teams across engineering business and executive leadership.
Global Experience: Familiarity working within multinational and multi-cultural teams.
Educational Background: Degree in a relevant field such as Computer Engineering Computer Science or similar; advanced degree preferred.
Preferred skills: experience with IoT telemetry or connected consumer ecosystems.
