About the Role

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Clinical Staff Educator Surgery to support clinical excellence through education training and staff development initiatives. This role focuses on mentoring surgical staff delivering hands-on learning experiences and promoting evidence-based clinical practices across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have strong perioperative nursing experience a passion for education and the ability to collaborate effectively with clinical leadership and interdisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide education instruction and mentorship to clinical staff.
• Develop implement and evaluate educational programs and competency-based training.
• Conduct simulation-based learning using mannequins and clinical software tools.
• Collaborate with nurse leaders and department managers to identify educational needs and improvement opportunities.
• Support quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with organizational policies regulatory standards and confidentiality requirements.
• Participate in accreditation and clinical education programs as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) required; MSN preferred.
• Current Oregon RN license required.
• CPR (Healthcare Provider) certification required.
• CNOR ACLS and PALS certifications required.
• Minimum 5 years of hospital nursing experience.
• Minimum 3 years of Operating Room (OR) experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word Outlook PowerPoint and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing and teaching healthcare education programs.
• Experience using simulation manikins and educational software.
• Previous experience as a Clinical Staff Educator.
• Knowledge of Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
