SUMMER LEARNING ACADEMY - SUMMER 2026

TEACHER-IN-CHARGE INSTRUCTOR NURSE

FAIR LAWN HIGH SCHOOL

We are presently accepting applications for the following positions. These positions require proper NJ certification.

The Summer Learning Academy offers students an in-person option for credit recovery. The following positions will be needed: Teacher-in-Charge Instructor Nurse

Position: Teacher in Charge (The Teacher-in-Charge oversees all functions of the Summer Learning Academy including staff matters student attendance and reporting of successful completion of the program)

QUALIFICATIONS:

NJ Certificate: Instructional (required) Supervisor or Principal (preferred)

• Familiar with NJ Student Learning Standards
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience working with at-risk students

Dates: Monday-Friday July 1 - July 31 2026
Hours:7:45 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Location: Fair Lawn High School

Rate: $44.27/hr

Position: Instructor

QUALIFICATIONS:

NJ Certificate: Instructional (K-12 content areas)

• Familiar with NJ Student Learning Standards
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience working with at-risk students

Format: In-person instruction
Dates: Monday-Friday July 1 - July 31 2026
Staff Hours:3.25-hour courses - 7:45 a.m. - 11:15 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (may vary dependent on assigned course of Personal Financial Literacy)
Location: Fair Lawn High School

Rate: $44.27/hr

Position: Nurse

QUALIFICATIONS:

NJ Certificate: School Nurse certificate or Registered Nurse w/ Substitute Credential

• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience working with at-risk students
  

Dates: Monday-Friday July 1 - July 31 2026
Hours:7:45 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. (July 1-2 and July 31) 12:30 - 3:00 p.m. (July 6 - 30)
Location: Fair Lawn High School

Rate: $44.27/hr

These are part-time positions and do not include benefits.
