THE POSITION
Odyssey Hotel Group is seeking a motivated and results-driven Groups & Events Seller to strengthen our Groups & Events Sales Team. Within this role you are responsible for generating revenue by promoting and selling groups and event services throughout our portfolio in Europe. The Groups & Events Seller works closely with clients the sales team and other commercial departments to deliver exceptional service.
Job requirements
THE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Qualify new leads to acquire new business opportunities in the groups and events segment.
Support Amsterdam market with active sales within groups & events
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients corporate partners and event organizers.
Identify and capitalize on upselling and cross-selling opportunities to maximize revenue.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients ensuring seamless communication and tailored event solutions.
Conduct sales calls site inspections and presentations to potential clients.
Prepare proposals negotiate contracts and manage all event-related documentation.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful execution of events.
WHAT WILL YOU BRING
Proven experience in sales (group) reservations account management or business development preferably in hospitality or event sales.
Strong ability to establish and maintain client relationships.
Fluent in English and German Dutch is a pré.
Excellent communication negotiation and organizational skills.
A proactive and target-driven mindset with the ability to work independently.
Experience with CRM systems and event sales platforms is an advantage (OPERA is a pré).
