Imaging Associates (IA) is a doctor led highly respected and rapidly growing radiology business with practices across the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne Gippsland and Wagga Wagga. IA prides itself on providing cutting edge diagnostic imaging services with a focus on clinical and patient excellence.

We are currently seeking a Medical Receptionist to join us on our growth journey - a role that plays a vital part in shaping the first impression our patients receive and ensuring the smooth compassionate experience Imaging Associates is known for.

What will you be doing

As the first point of contact youll take great pride in the care and compassion you show to patients along with the quality of the work you do. By drawing on your professionalism and friendly nature youll put patients at ease guiding them through their visit to the practice while contributing to the smooth operation of the practice.

You may be an experienced Medical Receptionist looking to take the next step in your career or you may be looking for a career change and to use your transferrable customer service skills. Either way we place a strong emphasis on the professional development of our team and will tailor a training program to develop and expand your skills.

Key responsibilities include:

• Welcoming patients and providing them with information about their appointment
• Managing calls and patient bookings
• Responding to enquiries from patients and referrers
• Managing patient invoicing and receipting

In addition you will need to have the following skills and experience:

• Exceptional customer service skills and communication skills
• Experience working autonomously and part of a team along with working in fast paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail while managing differnt priorities and commitment to quality outcomes
• Confidence with technology
• Flexibility to work at our other sites (within local vicinity) as required
• Availability to work across a 5-day rotating roster that covers the operational hours of 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday.
