Working within a collaborative finance team you will provide high-quality commercial and management accounting support across budgeting forecasting financial modelling reporting and business partnering activities.

The Role

Reporting to the Finance Business Partner Manager your responsibilities will include:

• Partnering with divisional leaders to support budgeting forecasting and long-term financial planning
• Preparing business cases financial models and scenario analysis to support strategic initiatives and investment decisions
• Delivering insightful management reporting KPI analysis and commercial recommendations
• Monitoring budget performance and identifying risks trends and opportunities for improvement
• Supporting tender pricing contract analysis and financial impact assessments
• Driving process improvement initiatives automation opportunities and operational efficiencies
• Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to improve financial literacy and business performance
• Assisting with management accounting activities reporting packs and ad hoc financial analysis

About You

To be successful in this role you will ideally possess:

• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting Finance Commerce or similar
• CA/CPA qualification (or working towards completion) highly regarded
• Experience in management accounting budgeting forecasting and financial analysis
• Strong financial modelling and business case preparation capability
• Ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable commercial insights
• Experience working within large or complex organisations
• Exposure to ERP and BI systems such as TM1 Power BI Cognos or similar
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office capability

Desirable Experience

• Infrastructure utilities energy government or asset-intensive industry exposure
• Understanding of commercial operations and operational performance drivers
• Experience supporting operational or regional business units
