Working within a collaborative finance team you will provide high-quality commercial and management accounting support across budgeting forecasting financial modelling reporting and business partnering activities.
The Role
Reporting to the Finance Business Partner Manager your responsibilities will include:
Partnering with divisional leaders to support budgeting forecasting and long-term financial planning
Preparing business cases financial models and scenario analysis to support strategic initiatives and investment decisions
Delivering insightful management reporting KPI analysis and commercial recommendations
Monitoring budget performance and identifying risks trends and opportunities for improvement
Supporting tender pricing contract analysis and financial impact assessments
Driving process improvement initiatives automation opportunities and operational efficiencies
Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to improve financial literacy and business performance
Assisting with management accounting activities reporting packs and ad hoc financial analysis
About You
To be successful in this role you will ideally possess:
Tertiary qualifications in Accounting Finance Commerce or similar
CA/CPA qualification (or working towards completion) highly regarded
Experience in management accounting budgeting forecasting and financial analysis
Strong financial modelling and business case preparation capability
Ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable commercial insights
Experience working within large or complex organisations
Exposure to ERP and BI systems such as TM1 Power BI Cognos or similar
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office capability
Desirable Experience
Infrastructure utilities energy government or asset-intensive industry exposure
Understanding of commercial operations and operational performance drivers
Experience supporting operational or regional business units
