About the Role:
Join Delaney Tire and Auto as a General Service Technician where you will play a vital role in providing exceptional automotive services in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance including oil changes tire rotations and fluid checks.
- Assist with vehicle inspections and diagnostics to identify potential issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly about services performed.
- Support senior technicians with repairs and service tasks as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Keep accurate records of services performed and parts used.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance skills.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; automotive training or certification is a plus.
- Previous experience in automotive service or maintenance preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively.
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced technicians.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor.
