POSITION DUTIES
The Comptroller of Marylands Unclaimed Property Division is seeking Temporary Representatives to assist with incoming calls and emails in our Baltimore Maryland location.
The incumbent in this entry-level position will gain basic Unclaimed Property knowledge by performing claim review and unclaimed property report review while working in a team environment.
On the job training and resources are provided to give you the knowledge necessary to perform the job.
Temporary positions can lead to more permanent opportunities.
Position hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Leave may be limited during certain times of the year due to high volume events projects or special assignments.
Employees are unable to prepare tax returns outside of the requirements of the job or work for private accounting services.
Telework may be offered once employees have demonstrated they can work independently.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
Experience:One year of customer service experience in anoffice environment responding to calls emails and using web-basedapplications

If you possess a degree obtained outside of the United States please submit a detailed course-by-course evaluation report from one of the U.S. equivalency evaluating members identified at PROCESS

BENEFITS
Leave may be granted to a temporary employee who has worked 120 days in a 12 month period. This leave accrues at a rate of one hour for every 30 hours worked not to exceed 40 hours per calendar year.
