Join BMWTechWorks India to shape the future of driving dynamics by blending hands-on software development with cutting-edge vehicle engineering including air suspension and vertical dynamics
You will join BMWTechWorks India in the Digital Product Engineering cluster within the Product Data unit contributing to the development of software-based driving dynamics functions for the vehicle development ecosystem with a focus on air suspension and vertical dynamics.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across CAE Simulation Konstruktion and Methods Tools Product Data to deliver robust prototype-driven software solutions.
You will lead and influence the design validation and iteration of model-based software components from concept to implementation with a strong emphasis on Luftfederung (air suspension) and vertical dynamics and MiL testing.
You will enjoy a dynamic multinational environment that values curiosity collaboration and continual learning.
What should you bring along
University degree in Computer Science Control Engineering Automotive Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or a comparable field
Several years of hands-on experience in controller development using Matlab/Simulink
Experience in Model-in-the-Loop (MiL) testing
Experience in prototype software development with dSPACE Autobox and dSPACE ControlDesk is desirable
Basic knowledge of vehicle dynamics is desirable
Experience in functional and concept development of software-based functions
Experience in requirements management: specifying requirements at different levels (vehicle level / software component / software module)
Strong communication skills and enthusiasm for developing new driving dynamics functions
English language proficiency negotiation-level
Must have technical skill
