Job Summary

NATO is accelerating its digital transformation and strengthening its cybersecurity posture in line with the Digital Transformation Implementation Strategy (DTIS) and the strategic vision of NATO 2030. The Cyber and Digital Transformation Division (CDT) under the leadership of the Assistant Secretary General (ASG) is responsible for ensuring enterprise-wide coherence alignment and execution of ICT and cybersecurity initiatives.

This role will manage the ACPV (Asset Configuration Patching and Vulnerability) Initiative a foundational cybersecurity program designed to enhance situational awareness compliance incident response and vulnerability management across the NATO Enterprise. The ACPV Initiative is also a key data-centric program providing the strategic framework for future innovations such as cybersecurity scorecards data exploitation platforms and governance systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide analysis and recommendations to align ACPVs objectives outputs and deliverables with NATOs Digital Transformation Implementation Strategy supporting NATOs broader priorities for cybersecurity situational awareness compliance and operational readiness.

  • Collaborate and engage with NATO leadership Nations user communities and external partners to ensure unified messaging clear communication and sustained stakeholder alignment around ACPVs objectives timelines and benefits.

  • Establish and oversee program governance mechanisms to ensure accountability within NATO entities and external stakeholders actively manage interdependencies and prioritize risks across ACPVs lifecycle while maintaining coherence across the Enterprise.

  • Design and implement frameworks and strategies to plan for ACPVs future evolution within NATOs digital transformation integrating innovative tools practices and long-term enterprise cybersecurity objectives into its roadmap.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • At least 10 years of experience in ICT and digital-policy-related industries including extensive experience managing complex initiatives within multinational and governmental contexts.

  • Experience across different domains functions and C-suite level stakeholders.

  • Extensive team management experience with a high level of autonomy.

  • Asset configuration patching and vulnerability management awareness and experience.

  • Understanding of the digital domain.

  • Expertise in strategic communications and stakeholder engagement especially with public and private partners across multinational environments.

  • Experience managing high-visibility programs with significant budgets (50M).

  • Experience working with NATO governance bodies military commands and enterprise entities. Deep familiarity with NCIA processes structures and ways of working.
