Job Summary
Job Responsibilities
- Plan prepare and deliver engaging Biology lessons for senior secondary students (Classes 1112) in line with the prescribed curriculum.
- Develop and update teaching materials laboratory experiments and digital resources to enhance student learning.
- Assess student performance through assignments tests and examinations and provide constructive feedback.
- Guide and mentor students for competitive exams (e.g. NEET AIIMS) and support their scientific projects and research initiatives.
- Participate in departmental meetings faculty development programs and school-wide events.
- Maintain a safe inclusive and stimulating laboratory environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design interdisciplinary projects and extracurricular activities.
- Contribute to curriculum development educational research and continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential Qualifications
- Masters degree or higher in Botany Zoology or related Biological Sciences (. or equivalent).
- PGT eligibility certification as per the regulations of the relevant education board.
- Proficiency in English and Hindi (both spoken and written).
- Strong knowledge of the NCERT syllabus and familiarity with latest educational trends in Biology.
- Excellent communication presentation and classroom management skills.
Desired Experience
- Minimum 2years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level.
- Prior experience conducting practical laboratory sessions and managing school labs.
- Experience coaching students for competitive examinations (NEET/AIIMS) is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated involvement in curriculum design workshops or academic research projects.
